The Patscherkofel, 2,246 m, is Innsbruck's most prominent mountain and a visit is a must when staying in Innsbruck.

The summit is very popular all year round due to the wonderful view. Starting from the mountain station of the Patscherkofel cable car, wAndersguide.tirol takes you away from the hustle and bustle and we will walk through the beautiful larch and stone pine forest of the Patscherkofel Nature Reserve to the summit.

Once there, we reward ourselves with a glass of home-made stone pine schnapps. For lunch, we stop off at the Gipfelstube summit restaurant for a delicious summit snack (not included in the price). We then take the summit trail back to the mountain station and enjoy the views of Innsbruck.

This snowshoe tour is suitable for snowshoe beginners, but some fitness is required. There are some steeper sections in between, but these can also be bypassed.
